Registration conditions for a .eu domain

Updated over a week ago

Anyone can register a .eu domain.
The only requirement is that the domain owner has an address within the European Union (EU).

If you don’t have an EU address, Webland can provide you with a trustee EU address for a fee of CHF 9.90 per domain per year.
Once the invoice has been paid, all rights and responsibilities of the domain name are fully transferred to you as the customer.

How can you register a .eu domain?

You can easily register your .eu domain directly with us.

  • If you already have your own EU address, please make sure to enter it as the domain owner’s address.

  • If you don’t have an EU address, simply enter your non-EU address during registration. In this case, the trustee service will be activated automatically.

How much does a .eu domain registration cost?

The registration fee for a .eu domain is CHF 29.90 per year (minimum registration period: 2 years).

If you make use of the trustee service, an additional fee of CHF 9.90 per domain per year applies.
