Domain Manager: Cancel a Domain

How can I cancel my domain name registered with Webland?

This article explains how to submit a cancellation request for a domain name registered with Webland by sending an authenticated message through the previous Domain Manager (Classic).

Who is this guide for?

This guide applies exclusively to customers who manage their domains through the Domain Manager on the previous Webland platform (Classic).

You can access the platform at classic.webland.ch.

Are you already using the new Webland platform (WHMCS)? Please log in through the new Webland website. The following steps do not apply to the new platform.

Requirements

  • Your domain name is registered with Webland.

  • You have access to the previous Webland Domain Manager.

  • You know your Contact ID and password.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to the Domain Manager

Open the Domain Manager and log in using your Contact ID and password.

2. Create an authenticated message

After logging in, select Send Message (Nachricht senden) from the menu.

This function allows you to send an authenticated message directly to Webland.

3. Submit your cancellation request

Write a message stating which domain name you would like to cancel.

Make sure to include the full domain name so that your request can be clearly identified.

Then click Send Message (Nachricht senden) to submit your cancellation request to Webland.

Good to Know

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted through an authenticated message so they can be associated with your customer account.

  • Always include the full domain name in your message.

  • If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it using the appropriate password recovery function. For more information, refer to our Help Center article about resetting your password.

Important: Sending the message submits your cancellation request. Webland will then process your request.
