This article explains how to start a free video conference through the Webland website, allow access to your camera and microphone, and invite additional participants.
Requirements
You need an up-to-date web browser.
Your device should have a microphone and, if needed, a camera.
You need a stable internet connection.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Start a video conference
Open the Webland website and click Start Free Video Conference (Kostenlose Videokonferenz starten).
The video conference will then open in your browser.
2. Allow camera and microphone access
To speak and use your camera during the video conference, your browser needs the appropriate permissions.
When your browser asks for permission to access your microphone and camera, click Allow (Erlauben).
Note: If you accidentally denied access, you can change the permissions later in your browser settings.
3. Invite additional participants
You can easily invite other people to your video conference by sharing a conference link.
Follow these steps:
Click More Settings (Weitere Einstellungen) in the conference menu at the bottom of the screen.
Select Invite People (Personen einladen).
Under Share the conference link to invite others (Teilen Sie den Konferenzlink, um andere einzuladen), click the blue Copy Conference Link (Konferenzlink kopieren) button.
The conference link will automatically be copied to your clipboard.
Share the copied link with the people you want to invite to your video conference.
4. Join the video conference
Once the invited participants open the conference link, they can join your video conference.

You can share the conference link with multiple people.
Participants also need a compatible web browser and an internet connection.
Browser permissions must be granted to use the microphone and camera.
If your camera or microphone is not working, check the permissions and selected devices in your browser settings.
Done! Your video conference is now running, and you can communicate with the invited participants.
