Use cPanel to manage the technical features of your hosting, such as files, databases, email accounts and PHP settings. This guide explains how to find tools, check account information and customise the interface.
Who is this guide for?
This guide applies exclusively to customers whose hosting is managed on the new Webland platform (WHMCS) and whose hosting plan includes cPanel.
Essential Hosting without cPanel: This guide does not apply to your hosting.
Previous platform using System Configurator or Domain Manager: Sign in at classic.webland.ch. The steps below do not apply to that platform.
Important: cPanel and the Webland client area serve different purposes. Manage invoices, contracts and your Webland customer account details in the client area. Use cPanel for the technical management of your hosting.
Requirements
Before you begin, make sure you:
Are signed in to the client area on the new Webland platform.
Have access to the relevant cPanel hosting service.
Available features and their appearance may vary depending on your hosting plan, language and cPanel version.
Step 1: Sign in to cPanel
Find your hosting service in the active services overview in the client area.
Click “Log in to cPanel”.
You will be signed in to cPanel automatically. The default homepage is the Tools page, which brings together the available hosting features.
Step 2: Get to know the main sections

Tools page | Displays available features grouped by topic. |
General Information | Shows cPanel account details, such as the username, primary domain and IP address. |

Click the cPanel logo to return to the homepage.
Depending on your hosting plan, the Tools page includes sections such as Files, Databases, Domains, Email, Security and Software. Click a feature to open it.
Step 3: Find features using search

Log out of cPanel.
Important: Changing your cPanel password does not change your Webland client area password. Contact information in cPanel is also managed separately from the customer details used for your invoices.
Step 5: Reset page settings
To restore the interface’s default display settings:
Open the account menu using the user icon.
Click “Reset Page Settings”.
This resets interface preferences. It does not delete your website files, databases or email accounts.
Step 6: Check notifications
A red dot on the bell icon indicates that notifications are available.
Click the bell icon.
Read the displayed messages, warnings or errors.
Follow any relevant instructions in the notification.
If you need help, provide Webland Support with the exact message and the affected hosting service.
Troubleshooting
I cannot find a feature
Try the search function first. If the feature does not appear, it may be unavailable for your hosting plan. Contact Webland Support if you are unsure.
My interface looks different
The language, cPanel version and enabled features can affect the layout. Use the feature names and search to find what you need.
I want to change my billing address
Open the Webland client area and update your account details there. The contact information settings in cPanel do not change your billing address.
