Who is this guide for?

Does your hosting use cPanel? Change the mailbox password through the email management section in cPanel.
Requirements
You have an active Essential Mail mailbox on the new Webland platform.
You are signed in to the client area.
Your user has the required permissions to manage the email service.
This changes the password for the selected mailbox. Your Webland client area password remains unchanged.
1. Open the email service
Open Services in the main menu of the client area.
Find the Email Hosting service associated with the relevant domain.
Click View Details.
2. Open email account management
Click Manage Email Accounts.
The overview of your existing email accounts opens.
3. Select the relevant mailbox
Under Existing Email Accounts, find the email address whose password you want to change.
Click the edit icon next to that mailbox.
4. Save the new password
Enter a long, unique password that meets the displayed password requirements.
Enter the new password again in the confirmation field.
Click the save icon (floppy disk).
A confirmation appears once the password has been saved successfully. Store the new password securely.
It may take a few minutes for the new password to take effect.
5. Update the password in your email applications
Once the change takes effect, sign in to webmail using your full email address and new mailbox password.
Also update the saved password on every device and in every application that uses this mailbox, such as Outlook, Apple Mail or your smartphone.
Check both the incoming server (IMAP) and outgoing server (SMTP) settings. Some email applications store their passwords separately.
