Set up MS Exchange Server
Do you want to connect your MS Exchange Server with your e-mail hosting?
Here you’ll find out how to correctly configure your Exchange Server to send e-mails.
Depending on your infrastructure, there are four scenarios. Simply choose the one that matches your environment.
1. MS Exchange Server with fixed IP address – Send mail via Webland mail server
If your Exchange Server has a fixed public IP address and you want to send mail via the Webland mail server, proceed as follows:
Enter fixed IP address:
Log in to the System Configurator at www.webland.ch with your customer number and password.
Select Hosting / E-Mail Management.
Click Manage for your domain.
At the top right, go to E-Mail / CloudOffice and select MS Exchange Server.
Enter your fixed public IP address and click on Save changes.
SMTP server for sending:
Use the server: smtp.speedconnect.ch
Important:
SMTP authentication must not be activated.
2. MS Exchange Server with fixed IP address – Send mail directly via the server
In this case, no changes are necessary.
Your Exchange Server is already configured to send mails directly.
3. MS Exchange Server without fixed IP address – Send mail via Webland mail server
If your Exchange Server does not have a fixed IP address, sending via the Webland mail server is not possible.
Instead, use the mail server of your Internet provider (access provider).
4. MS Exchange Server without fixed IP address – Send mail directly via the server
Here too, no changes are necessary.
Your Exchange Server is already configured to send mails directly.
