How do I switch to a higher hosting subscription?

Here you will learn how to upgrade your existing hosting plan on the previous Webland platform (Classic) to a higher-tier plan if you need more storage space, additional features or better performance.

Who does this guide apply to?

This guide applies exclusively to customers who manage their hosting through the System Configurator on the previous Webland platform (Classic).

You can access it at classic.webland.ch.

Are you already using the new Webland platform (WHMCS)? If so, log in via the new Webland website. The following steps do not apply to the new platform.

Requirements

  • You have an active hosting plan on the previous Webland platform (Classic).

  • You know your customer number and customer password.

  • You want to upgrade to an available higher-tier hosting plan.

1. Log in to the System Configurator

  1. Open the Classic login page.

  2. Select System Configurator.

  3. Log in using your customer number and customer password.

  4. Select the "Customer Account" menu.

  5. Click "Manage Contracts / Subscriptions".

    ​2. Upgrade your hosting plan

    1. Under "Manage Contracts / Subscriptions", select the hosting plan you want to upgrade.

    2. Click "Manage" next to the corresponding hosting plan.

    3. Select the "Upgrade Plan" option.

    4. Choose the higher-tier hosting plan you would like to upgrade to.

    5. Review the displayed terms and conditions and follow the remaining instructions to confirm the upgrade.

    Once confirmed, your hosting plan will usually be upgraded to the new plan immediately.

    Important: Before confirming, review the terms and prices of the new hosting plan. Upgrading may change your hosting costs.

    Make sure you have selected the correct hosting plan under "Customer Account" → "Manage Contracts / Subscriptions". If the option is not displayed, please contact our support team.

    I have forgotten my System Configurator password.

    You can request a password reset link using the "Forgot password" function on the Classic login page.

    I am already using the new Webland platform.
