You can change the PHP version in your Webland hosting at any time – either for your entire hosting account or for specific directories.
This guide shows you step by step how to do it and what to keep in mind.
Change PHP Version – Step by Step
1. Log in to the System Configurator
Log in to the System Configurator with your customer number and password.
Then go to Webserver → Programming → PHP.
2. Change PHP Version for the Entire Hosting
Select your desired domain.
You’ll see the currently active PHP version.
Click on the new PHP version you want to use – the change usually takes effect within a few minutes.
3. Change PHP Version for a Specific Directory
If you want to use a different PHP version for certain directories:
Under your domain, choose Add Virtual Directory.
Create or select the desired directory.
Set the PHP version you want for this directory.
Important Notes
Changes usually take effect after a few minutes.
Make sure your applications are compatible with the selected PHP version.
If you see any errors after the change, check your PHP scripts or switch back to the previous version.
