Backup GroupWare data

How can I backup and restore my GroupWare data?

To make sure your important data (calendar, tasks, notes, contacts) is not lost, we recommend performing a local backup regularly. With WebAccess, you can easily export your GroupWare data and re-import it if needed.

Backup GroupWare Data

Here’s how to back up your data manually:

  1. Log in to WebAccess with your e-mail account and password.

  2. In the top right menu bar, click on your profile/passport symbol and select Settings.

  3. In the menu, go to the tab Import/Export → GroupWare.

  4. Click on Export and save the generated .xml file locally on your device.

Restore GroupWare Data

Here’s how to restore your previously saved data:

  1. Log in to WebAccess with your e-mail account and password.

  2. In the top right menu bar, click on your profile/passport symbol and go to Settings.

  3. Select the tab Import/Export → GroupWare.

  4. Click on Import, choose your previously saved .xml file, and start the import.

Important Note

  • Depending on the number of entries, the export or import may take some time.

  • Do not cancel the process – wait until your browser confirms the successful export/import.
